Easter weekend I hosted an egg hunt and brunch at our house. My girlfriend had decided not to take her kids to church camp over Easter as they had been away the previous weekend. The kids although disappointed were consoled by the fact that I would host a hunt for them instead. Knowing that they were looking forward to the occasion, and that I ought to make it special enough that they were happy to miss camp, I enthusiastically at the last minute created this gorgeous autumn Easter brunch.
As we are in the Southern Hemisphere, it makes sense that the styling should be autumn themed which also made it easier to decorate without having to spend money on decorations. We held the Easter egg hunt on the Monday and I have since decided that from now on I will keep any Easter events on a Monday in future, as not only does it allow you to keep Sundays focus on the story of Jesus, but (possibly my real motive) I can purchase good quality chocolate at a ridiculously low price and also give my self time to decorate at the last minute.
No matter your chocolate eating habits, religious beliefs or family situation I hope you were able to spend your weekend filled with happiness. With love from my family to yours.. XX
