A few weeks ago I hosted a cocktail party for some local friends of ours in business. They all run their own business and we thought it might be nice to introduce them to one another as well as check out each others products for the Christmas season, wind down with some drinks and talk (or not talk) about work. I am so excited about Christmas as I feel a little more organised now, thanks to the these awesome ladies who shared some of their amazing products with everyone. A gift from Lyn ...
Last Summer
Firstly I should thank everyone that sent me messages and comments with links to pleated skirts after my recent post (here) about my hunt for a light coloured skirt. Although I have still not found the pleated skirt that meets my strict criteria I was excited and ever so grateful that you all assisted me in what is an ongoing search! Suddenly in the last 12 months it has become my new obsession and part of my fallback outfit for nearly any event. I wore this outfit to the local business awards earlier this year when I attended with my sister. She loved the outfit so much she borrowed ...
Ballarat Cup
I got home two days ago after nearly a month away on holidays and one of the first things that my sister tells me is that Review have given her tickets to the Ballarat Cup and that I will be attending as her plus one. No pressure there! As some of my readers will remember I attended my first ever racing event a few months ago and when I was somewhat under the weather and suffering some serious anxiety. I had told myself that one day I might attend a racing event again ...
